From the Res Ipsa Loquitur Files: Today’s Trump Derangement Outburst

A Facebook “influencer” whom I had never heard of before somehow invaded my Facebook feed with this:

“All the news channels yesterday were full of tributes to Dolly Parton. Of course, it’s sad that she died and I was aware of many of the wonderful things other than the music and performances she gave us. What surprised me was how refreshing it was to see this in review against the against the constant chronicle of the cruel, corrupt, inane, buffoonish, disgusting lying narcissist who is usually dominating the news.”

I responded that he needs to get help, because being compelled to express hatred for the President of the United States in discussing completely unrelated topics is the definitive symptom of crippling Trump Derangement. I expect his post to attract dozens of “likes” and “loves.”

This is monomania, a mental disorder.

  1. Maybe someone, not me, could vandalize her car with a bumper sticker reading “I don’t have to know things to be smart. I have words.”

  2. Indeed. Injecting Trump into topics that have nothing to do with him is certainly on a list of symptoms for Trump Derangement.

    Amen to that!

There are a slew of commenters over on Jonathan Turley’s blog that bring their hatred if Donald Trump into absolutely every comment they make regardless of the topics Turley choses. It’s all pure deflection from internet trolls.

One of the worst commenters that engages in this TDS deflection behavior is someone called “enigmainblackcom“. I’ve had a few conversations with this TDS sufferer about his obvious deflections. My last interaction with this TDS troll was on a recent Turley post about Rahil Prakash, who was the lying pollster at Median Strategies, where enigmainblackcom tried to call Turley a “hypocrite” for posting about Rahil Prakash’s publicly admitted polling lies and not posting about Donald Trump’s perceived lies. My reply to enigmainblackcom’s comment was…

“Maybe you don’t realize it yet, but it’s obvious to fellow readers here in Turley’s threads that, Trump is living rent free in your psyche. You appear to be thoroughly obsessed with Trump, and not in a healthy way. Get some help.”

To which the TDS suffering commenter replied like a typical troll…

“Another blind man who will not see.”

One of the more humorous replies to enigmainblackcom’s obvious TDS deflection was…

“One of the best applications of the “Look! A Squirrel!” argument I’ve seen all day.”

Also, this TDS suffering enigmainblackcom troll, aka moron, literally doesn’t know the difference between hypocrisy and a double standard. Even after I specifically pointed out that what Turley did was not hypocrisy, as enigmainblackcom claimed, but could be described in a trolling deflection as a double standard. This moron actually doubled-down on his hypocrisy claim, so I ended this particular conversation with this reply, in part…

“You clearly don’t comprehend what hypocrisy is; therefore, I sentence you to return to 7-8th grade English Comprehension classes until you can properly master what words mean.”

Trump is truly allowed to reside in the brains of TDS sufferers rent free, it really is a crippling and unhealthy psychological obsession.
