I’m not a lawyer or a Sports Illustrated subscriber, but I notice another potential ethics issue related to this post. It appears that this AI invented content provider reviews outdoor equipment for Sports Illustrated. My understanding is that the FTC, regulates “sponsored content “ and requires disclosure if such content is published. Could this be an attempt to evade the above rule? It’s possible that the articles by “Drew Ortiz” contain such disclosures or that these reviews are in no way sponsored content. It will be interesting to see if more is revealed.
