Nonetheless, even for the notoriously shameless and tasteless real estate mogul, this is a new low. He has recruited Rachel Uchitel for his self-promotion vehicle reality show, “The Celebrity Apprentice.” Uchitel, in case you’ve lost count, was the first of Tiger Woods’ many mistresses to be identified by the press.
Now every attractive woman seeking fame and fortune has a motive to contribute to the destruction of male celebrities’ marriages, to help disrupt their children’s lives and shatter their sense of security, and to aid and abet self-destructive, dishonest, cruel conduct. If you do it well enough, Donald Trump will make you a star! Soon you can be appearing on other reality shows, making money, hiring an agent, getting photo spreads in the Globe and National Enquirer. All it takes is plenty of greed, a lot of ambition, and no shame. Talent, hard work, skill and intelligence are optional, and maybe even a disadvantage.
Once upon a time, American culture derided those who complete adulterous and clandestine relationships with the rich and famous as morally challenged gold-diggers. Now it rewards them with TV shows. Donald Trump, not satisfied with being the living embodiment of Gordon Gekko, is pushing us to accept the proposition that not only is greed good, so is infidelity, and home-wrecking is a job qualification.
Trump’s execrable values are no surprise, but there is a mystery in his choice of Uchitel.

So, I do wonder what the two Trump ducklings have to say. Will Ivanka go along with daddy’s decision that adultery should be rewarded and offer a slap in the face as well to Tiger slime’s wife and oh yeah..no worry, there are children involved and they’ll grow up one day and learn all about greed and the world according to Donald Trump!
Take your ratings game and well, put it somewhere where the sun don’t shine!
I would put the chances of Ivanka or her bro bucking Daddy Donald somewhere between the chances that Christopher Hitchens will become a Baptist and the odds that Lindsay Lohan will start a new career as an accountant.
Janet’s got it right. Public infamy seems to be the ticket for “reality” rewards these days. Once such people hid their faces in shame over such things. Now they proclaim it to the world. AND they’re rewarded for it. Donald Trump wasn’t the first to do this… and for himself as well! He’s just become the most outrageous promoter at this time. More- and worse- will follow.
BTW: Dina Lohan’s no slouch at this sort of thing, either. Look for her to capitalize on her daughter’s incarceration in whatever way possible. Lindsey is only what Mommy Dearest brought her up to be. And more Lindseys are out there just waiting to happen. I can even tell you who!
Donald Trump is a ruthless, loudmouthed totally hypocritical dishonest money grubbing jerk & he needs to do something about his absurd pretentious hairstyle. He also needs to be educated in world politics – doesn’t he realise that the massive debt to China is in no small part down to U.S.”Big Business” manufacturing in that country or sub contracting to Chinese companies & importing those goods into the U.S. He was also left a pile of money by his father – so he is not the self-made man he makes himself out to be. Neither would his business activities bear close scrutiny.
How can a hair-do that makes you look like a vain jackass be “pretentious”? Now MY hairstyle is pretentious.
