Wow. The news media and Democrats are really going all in in trying to use a sick maniac’s attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband as a campaign issue. Again, desperate, and as usual, stupid. The theory is that this can be a tipping point, except that it will take more than the usual mainstream media selective obfuscation of facts to make it even fly as high or as far as the Spruce Goose. Pelosi’s attacker was and is a long-time wacko. There is as much in his rants and beliefs to link him to either side of the political spectrum. The Left has had an absurd amount of success blowing up single incidents into generalizations (See: Trayvon Martin; George Floyd; the Capitol riot) but this is lame. Naturally we’re getting the “prove you don’t approve by condemning it!” tactic aimed at Republicans, a trick that somehow never is dusted off and employed when Republican, conservatives or their family members are attacked. I’m not surprised that Trump hasn’t issued some pro forma expression of sympathy or condemnation. He should, of course, but Nancy Pelosi has treated him with more disrespect than any House Speaker ever treated a President, and graciousness is not in his vocabulary. I just hope he avoids saying, “Good!”
The current narrative that Republicans have used hateful rhetoric against Democrats while Democrats have not equaled or surpassed them in pure viciousness is so transparently a lie that even Democrats can’t believe it. The President called Republicans fascists and a clear and present danger to democracy just a month ago! Never mind, though: they have nothing better now. Any voter who is going to hear and read this garbage and think, “Gee, I better vote for Democrats because a mentally-ill Canadian attacked the husband of the Speaker of the House with a hammer” is so incompetent that his or her votes could probably be bought by a promise of Twizzlers. Friends of the party and its media propagandists would be kind to whisper, “Just stop. You’re embarrassing yourselves.”
1. What should one make of this? Trans comedian Jordan Gray, on the UK comedy show “Friday Night Live,” ripped off his clothing, and, naked, began to play his keyboard with his erect penis while singing his song “Better Than You.” It’s lyrics included, “I’m a perfect woman, my tits will never shrink. I’m guaranteed to squirt, and I do anal by default … I am the lizard king, and I can do anything that any other woman can’t … I used to be a man, now I’m better than you.” We are told that the audience was delighted, but the misogynist lyrics have feminists up in arms.
Two words: Freak show. That’s all: this is in the same category as Joseph Pujol, better known by his stage name Le Pétomane, who entertained vaudeville audiences by farting out melodies. If trans individual wanted to be regarded as better than circus acts, freaks of nature and exhibitionists, they need to avoid behaving like this. It seriously undercuts their claims of being normal, respectable members of society. [Pointer: Mrs. Q]
In a related category is this jaw-dropping video, which was released on Disney Plus last year but is only being widely discussed now:
You don’t have to watch all of it; about 10 minutes will do. This is corporate incompetence and irresponsible programming on a channel for children. If Disney wants to pander to gender-confused kids and their clueless parents, they should launch a special channel. Even five years ago, this would be a SNL satire.
2. In related news—this will go well, I’m sure…A Thai business tycoon, Chakrapong “Anne” Chakrajutathib, who is a transgender activist has purchased the Miss Universe Organization for $20 million from Donald Trump and others. The new owner has starred in reality shows as a transgender woman, and helped establish a nonprofit group, Life Inspired For Transsexual Foundation, to promote trans rights.
3. The Ethics Alarms Stopped Clock Award goes to House Speaker in waiting Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who says that he will oppose impeachment efforts against Biden and members of his cabinet.
“I think the country doesn’t like impeachment used for political purposes at all,” McCarthy has said. “If anyone ever rises to that occasion, you have to, but I think the country wants to heal and … start to see the system that actually works. What we’ve done in the Commitment to America, but we’re really focused on the economy, on crime, and the border. [Voters] don’t want you to focus on it. We focus on accountability.”
McCarthy also says that he doesn’t think anyone in the Biden administration has committed impeachable offenses. I think he’s wrong about that, with AG Merrick Garland and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, breaching their oaths and refusing to enforce the law, but he’s probably right from a practical standpoint.
Do remember, though, that Nancy Pelosi originally opposed a partisan impeachment of President Trump, until she didn’t.
4. The Great Stupid rolls on, Bay State edition…The new immigrant license law, passed by the Massachusetts legislature over Gov. Charlie Baker’s veto, allows illegal immigrants to use identification issued by their home country to gain a Bay State driver’s license. Gee, what a good idea! Question 4 on the November 8 ballot asks mass. voters if they want to overturn the law. Conveniently, Everton Candido, 19, a native of Brazil and an illegal immigrant once caught at the southern border, was recently involved in an accident that killed an elderly pedestrian. He’s charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
“This guy is a poster boy to vote no on Question 4,” a law enforcement source told the Boston Herald. No, voters shouldn’t need a poster boy to vote no. Illegal immigrants should have no privileges here at all, except due process and fair trials before they are locked up or deported.
5. What a surprise…Tweets using “nigger” and other racial and ethnic slurs exploded on Twitter as Elon Musk took over. I wonder what percentage were false flag efforts to undermine Musk? My guess: most of them. Progressive today find free speech threatening.
6. Ugh. Another one. Maurice Hastings, convicted of the kidnapping and murder of Inglewood woman Roberta Wydermyer and the attempted murder of both her husband Billy Ray and friend George Pinson in 1988, has been freed after spending the last 38 years in prison. New DNA evidence proves that Hastings was wrongly convicted for the crimes that occurred in 1983.
His conviction for abduction, sexual assault, murder and attempted murder was vacated due to a joint effort from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles Innocence Project. What would be just compensation for such a miscarriage of justice? Even though mistakes are inevitable in any system, every one of thesw horrible episodes must be followed by investigations, accountability, and massive damages.
RE #6: One of two primary reasons I’m opposed to the death penalty.
Some could argue it is collateral damage, like the deaths of innocents in Hiroshima.
I’m not sure taking a “total war” approach to law enforcement would be a sign of a healthy society.
It is sort of like militant Islamists purchasing the parent companies of Ms. Magazine and Jezebel.com.
So why does this never happen?
Why is there no one who can summarily execute government officials for failing for the last time?
What about the jurors or prosecutors? Should they not be held strictly liable?
Re Disney: Didn’t this used to be a safe TV place for kids? Why is it important to the LGBTQ community to teach that everything, everything, has to do with sex? Even for little kids? Why is it important to create — on Disney! — propaganda to espouse some view than transgender is somehow better and more honest than regular gender identification? (We will all have artificial insemination soon since male/female sex is suddenly so icky?) And who are the Disney executives who allow or encourage this crap? All Walt Disney wanted to do was create excellent entertainment, and that he did. It is reprehensible that this crap is using his name.
Re Jordan Gray: He belongs in a county fair freak tent. And here’s an observation: The great response he received had to be for his penis, not his playing, because what piano music can you play with one digit? Even chopsticks requires two. This is the kind of stunt that will set back gay and transgender acceptance at least 10 years. Spend so much time telling us you are, as a gay or transgender or whatever, just an American population that deserves respect, then go forward to destroy that progress. As 6-7% of the population, you have no right to pretend you are more than that, and intrude on lives that really couldn’t care less what your sexual orientation is. Pure hubris, and it will backfire.

For number 4, does voting “No” repeal the law, or allow it to stand?
It’s confusing in the article, but I concluded that voting “No” will repeal the law, and that appears to be correct.
That Paul Pelosi story is fishy.
1. What to make of this? Disgusting is what I call it. As someone who has grappled with the difficulties of fitting in, I have never liked the idea of specifically celebrating abnormality. I applaud those who overcame disability to achieve, like blind singer Andrea Bocelli, “thalidomide baby” singer/teacher Thomas Quasthoff, and armless singer/guitarist Tony Melendez, but that’s specifically because they overcame their issues, not because of their issues. This person insists on fully exposing a freaky body and playing it up and I’m supposed to applaud? No way. The Disney stream is not something I can even watch and not think of as half self-parody, half indictment of just how far this once great, innovative, and uplifting company has fallen. The same company that gave us Prince Philip hacking down Maleficent to rescue Sleeping Beauty and Belle leading the Beast to his better nature is doing THIS now?
2. I’ve never paid much attention to Miss Universe or any other pageant, except for the occasional parade I’ve attended where there have been pageant winners on floats and sometimes mingling with the audience before or after, perfectly mannered, of course. I’m going to pay even less now, as this too becomes a parody of what it once was in the name of normalizing abnormality.
3. Nacy Pelosi also was once wise enough NOT to go forward with an impeachment of GWB. However, she was also “only” 67 at the time, not almost senile, and not being pulled from the left by the “squad” idiocracy. Kevin McCarthy is still a relatively young 57 and this would be his first time out as Speaker. He saw the last 2 Republican Speakers fail and, in the case of Paul Ryan, not fulfill their potential. I’m certain he doesn’t want to end up like that, and he knows an impeachment that would be almost certain NOT to go anywhere (both political parties will close ranks around their executives) is one very sure way to end up like that, and end up there sooner rather than later.
4. According to the messed- up logic of the Democratic Party, illegal immigrants should have MORE privileges than natural-born citizens or immigrants who followed the rules.
5. Progressives want Twitter to collapse now that it can’t be their safe space anymore. The progressives who tweet regularly and are not celebs have the mentality and maturity of two-year-olds. If they can’t have it all their way, then no one can have it any way.
6. Well that bites. Why did it take so long to examine this new evidence? I hate it when things like this happen – either an innocent person goes to jail or a killer walks free.
Addressing the first part last, it’s not only the Great Pumpkin who has limited tolerance of hypocrisy. Most folks, even on the Democratic side of the aisle, eventually reach the point where they see the transparent dishonesty and decide Even Evil has Standards or “there’s some crap I won’t swallow.”
Will we ever hear the truth of the Paul Pelosi incident? I fear not! There are so many holes in this story. Among the, 1. No sign of a break-in. 2. If this was an A-level welfare check as the PC said, who initiated the welfare check and why? 3. The man was charged with elder abuse- elder abuse implies there was a relationship of trust that was violated. 4. Are we supposed to believe that Pelosi’s home is without security? 5. “Witnesses” affirm the perpetrator ran through the house shouting “Where is Nancy?” Who are the witnesses and why were they at 2 AM?
There are many more lacunas in this story than there are facts!
I find the timing of this incident too convenient. However, I doubt Democrats are so desperate that they would injure an elderly person- even an elderly white man – to try to mitigate their upcoming painful and well-deserved loss.
Now, if there’s evidence Pelosi wasn’t injured at all….
The emerging possibility today, which is still in the unconfirmed accounts stage, is that ol’Paul was drunk, picked up a gay one-night stand who turned out to be a dangerous nut, and then everything unraveled from there. This explains a lot of loose ends like “Where’s Nancy?”, the fact that there was no sign of a break-in, the weird detail of Paul asking to use the bathroom and being permitted to, and the fact that he referred to the guy as “a friend.” Now a source is saying that Pelosi won’t hand over security footage. All speculation, but wow, if that turns out to be the case, the Democrats blaming the attack on Trump and the GOP will look even worse than usual.
BOY I hope the alternate scenario is true….

The cover up is worse than the crime, right Nancy? The SF cops have to be actively and furiously covering for the home team. The Dems have been super quiet about this “attack” of late. I think the word is out that this story is a dumpster fire, perhaps career ending, episode for Nancy Pelosi.
