Has the U.S. Congress ever had so many unethical, disgusting members? I guess that’s an inquiry for another day when my gorge is feeling more stable. It is difficult, however, to imagine a House member being more vile than Adam Schiff. Behold: here is how he responded to the Durham Report when asked by The Epoch Times
“If you read Mr. Durham’s report, what he said is that there wasn’t evidence of collusion before they began the investigation. That’s obviously a very important distinction.”
This, my friends, is a totalitarian to the core. An investigation, he believes, is justified after the fact if it finds something incriminating. This falls into line with the argument of many progressives and pundits on the left, that “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear,” a theory most commonly attributed to Joseph Goebbels in 1933. Goebbels would have liked Schiff, I think. He and the Democrats also channel Stalin’s secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria, who famously said, “Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.”
That’s what the Russian collusion scheme was about; that’s what the Democrats’ determination to impeach President Trump was about; it’s at the root of the January 6 witch hunt as well. That is also why the Durham report will help Donald Trump get past his indictment for the payments to a porn star and the verdict holding him liable for an alleged sexual assault.
Schiff’s philosophy has been at the root of the assault on him and his Presidency all along. I’ve never seen anything like it; I don’t think there has ever been anything like it…not in this country. If Americans allow Schiff’s version of justice to be institutionalized, nobody is safe. “Sure we had nothing to justify investigating every aspect of your life, but look what we found!” That’s it—the end of liberty, the end of freedom, the end of dissent.
That is what Adam Schiff represents, and what he wants. Naturally, Schiff being what he is, he then lied, claiming there was indeed Trump campaign collusion with Russia though both the Mueller investigation and the Durham investigation found evidence of none. For example, he falsely claimed that Michael Flynn had secret meetings with the Russian ambassador in which they discussed undermining bipartisan sanctions imposed on Russia, even though the discussion between Flynn and the Russian ambassador occurred after the 2016 election.
This is truly a bad man, an unethical elected official, and a human cancer in our government. Anyone who trusts, supports, defends, or, ugh, votes for him is either an unwitting or a deliberate foe of democracy.
“Anyone who trusts, supports, defends, or, ugh, votes for him is either an unwitting or a deliberate foe of democracy.”
Well, Schiff can always count on the woke vote.
Which is weird. It’s like people voting for the Medicis.
He’s basically a Clintonista. Lannie Davis, Jr. Ruthless. Amoral. Vicious.
That’s why this guy could be Diane Feinstein’s successor.
As repulsive as Schiff is, he is not the problem. The problem is an amoral media that refuses to show the world how dishonestly evil he really is. The problem is not with Schiff; the problem is an electorate that refuses to examine his fitness to serve or ignores it because he is a Democrat.
The world will always have evil people. Without the support of the German people, Hitler would never have been anything more than a marginally talented painter. We need to demand more from our elected officials. We need to demand more from our media.
We need to have the courage to vote with our feet or protest companies if we don’t agree with their political agenda. For me, it would be a woke or progressive agenda; for someone else, it could be a conservative or libertarian agenda. The media and corporations won’t change until their behavior hits their bottom line. Think Bud Light.
I absolutely agree with you that we need to hold our elected representatives accountable. My first rule is “Don’t lie to me”.
The second rule should be “your job is to represent us your constituents, not your ego, not your party, and not your bank account.”
He’s the congressman from Hollywood. From his wiki page: “Schiff represents California’s 30th congressional district, which is centered in the San Gabriel Valley east of Los Angeles and includes Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, West Hollywood, and the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Hollywood, Sunland-Tujunga, Edendale, Park La Brea, Hancock Park, and Echo Park” He graduated from Stanford undergrad and Harvard Law School where he was a research assistant for, wait for it, Larry Tribe. So, he’s smart, he’s Jewish, like most of Hollywood, he’s a Democrat down to his toes, and he’s impeccably credentialed. What’s not to like in a congressperson from the most lefty district in the country? And soon, he’ll be in the Senate! He’ll be around for another thirty years. He’ll make Nancy Pelosi look like a piker. He’s just getting started.
His congressional district sounds like every other congressional district a mixture of districting to make it safe for the incumbent of the party. This guy has major crimes. You can not be this nasty, this deceitful, and this partisan and not have a wake of crimes and abused people. He accuses others of what he himself is involved with. He is safe because there is only one Margery Taylor Green. The rest are still expecting the Dems to come to the table. To be reasonable but it is a real Cult of intertwined dependency.
In my opinion, Adam Schiff is verified political hack that just happens to also be an unapologetic pathological…
Currently, if you try to purchase a firearm and are merely ‘delayed’ on the NICS check, the FBI reports you to local law enforcement for investigation. About a million people a year are delayed. They say if the delay is resolved, they are supposed to remove the request, but the notification to law enforcement will take place after 24 hours and the FBI can delay a purchase for 3 days, The FBI fails to complete the delay for over 300,000 background checks/year. Those purchases go through without a background check, but what happens to the report for investigation? Imagine what happens if local law enforcement in gun-hating jurisdictions get a report form the FBI about you as a potential gun-criminal? Imagine in states with Red-Flag Laws?
The most common reasons for delay are that the FBI is busy or you have the same name as someone else, but they can delay you for any reason. If they want to investigate you, they will.
1. “Schiff’s philosophy has been at the root of the assault on him and his Presidency all along. I’ve never seen anything like it; I don’t think there has ever been anything like it…not in this country.” Not an attack against the president but certainly an attack against individual rights was seen in the era of McCarthy and FDR.
2. “This is truly a bad man, an unethical elected official, and human cancer in our government. Anyone who trusts, supports, defends, or, ugh, votes for him is either an unwitting or a deliberate foe of democracy.” Does he not represent the district in California (Los Angles, Hollywood) that is populated by unethical human cancers who willingly and deliberately are foes of Democracy and the American Way? I believe the last time the idea of “truth, justice, and the American way” slipped from the lips of any of his constituents was circa the 50s when Superman was aired and watched by every child in the USA.
“This is truly a bad man, an unethical elected official, and human cancer in our government.”
According to inside sources, even his wife (and kids) do not like him but alas the lifestyle.
Their dog isn’t speaking.
I am tempted to laws requiring passing a biannual civics exam to be able to vote, and refusal to taker the exam, or failing the exam, within the past ten years disqualifies people from voting.
I can not honestly trust that such a law would be enforced in an even-handed manner.
