I have now heard from three veteran commenters that they can’t post, and so far, Word Press’s “Happiness engineers” (gag) have no useful answers or advice. If you have found a fix for this problem—nothing has changed from my end—please post it. To those of you who are locked out, I’m sorry, you haven’t been banned, and I’m working on it.
UPDATE: WordPress has replicated the problem and I am informed that an engineer is working to fix it.
5:05 EST Update from Word Press: “We’ve heard back from our team and have confirmed that this is a bug. We have a team actively working to resolve the issue. While I don’t have an exact timeframe, I am hopeful we’ll see a fix soon.”

Yes. I can’t post via a browser but I can post via the iPhone app. Quite frustrating.

It appears that they’ve fixed whatever was wrong.
They haven’t, I am told.
I haven’t had any issues regardless of the platform I’m submitting the comment from.

I took a course on how to talk gooder english.
AI changes correct words for others that make no sense but cannot tell that first word should have been “it”.
I think in the last 6-7 months I’ve had one response that didn’t get posted. Work computer, home laptop, home desktop, Android-based phone…they’ve all worked without issue. And for a time before that, every third or fourth comment was getting sent to spam.
Hopefully that gets resolved for those of you having problems.
Well if I actually login to WordPress it seems I can comment on my phone.

I’m using windows 11, Google Chrome for browser. I don’t have wordpress. Testing to see if you get this one. Thought maybe this will help.
