If Fox News isn’t going to insist on accurate terminology over Axis propaganda and false narratives in our broadcast news, who will?
I just watched a Fox report from Los Angeles in which the reporter repeatedly referred to ICE arresting “immigrants” and “migrants.” Whoever it was should be disciplined, and, ideally, fired. I regard the use of those cover-words as deliberate complicity with the Axis media’s disinformation campaign, not only to demonize ICE, but to confuse the dimmer members of the public regarding what is happening and why it needs to happen.
This rhetorical sloppiness plays into the hands of partisan liars and open border activists like the disgusting Becky Pringle, featured in the previous post. It is also undermining the President’s immigration policies and law enforcement efforts. The current polls suggest that a clear majority of the public oppose the President’s deployment of the Marines to riot-torn Los Angeles, and that is the direct result of news media bias and public ignorance reinforced by incompetent or dishonest journalism.
Fox News, to be blunt, is barely a tolerable news source because its biases somewhat counter-balance the flagrant biases of the rest of our so-called “journalists.” It is equally lazy, imprecise, misleading and unprofessional as the rest, and in some respects more so: anyone who can watch ten minutes of “Fox and Friends” without their brain requesting permission to leave the room is a prime candidate to work as an intern at a bait shop. Fox New allowing its reporters to follow the progressive-dictated script to confound the issues in the Illegal Immigration Ethics Train Wreck is unethical and unforgivable.
These are illegal immigrants. They have no right to be in the country. They did not build the United States, and they are not being “scapegoated.” It their families suffer when they finally have to face the metaphorical music, that is their fault, not the fault of law enforcement. The reason that ICE has to employ draconian methods is 75% the responsibility of the Biden Administration for refusing to enforce the law for four years, with the rest of the blame lying with previous administrations and greedy members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, who want to keep exploiting illegals to keep their costs artificially low.
Ethics Alarms had opposed mass deportation, not because it wasn’t justified, but because it necessarily entails exactly the kind of chaos we are seeing now. However, the astounding pro-illegal immigration policies of the past four years could not be allowed to have their desired effect. The die, as the saying goes, is cast. The least Fox News can do is accurately describe the problem.
Ethics Alarms

And the cost of deploying National Guard and the Marines is also the fault of Democratic elected officials in California who refused to use the resources at hand effectively to stop vandalism, arson and physical attacks on law enforcement and rather encouraged those activities for partisan political gain.
The current media blitz about the cost of the deployments echoes yet another narrative certainly concocted by the Democrats and spread by their complicit media cohorts.
They are illegal aliens in my vocabulary. Using the term immigrant softens it too much from the term used by tv and radio news when I was younger.
And, for what it is worth, illegal aliens is even more accurate than illegal immigrants.

When you flood the zone with illegal aliens to make it impossible to manage in a humane way you cannot complain when the cleanup may cause the system to be unable to hear cases that might lend themselves to a bit of deference. It is like when North Carolina got slammed with torrential rains and floods ravaged communities a good number of valuable items wound up being scooped up by the bulldozers and loaded into dumpsters.
If the goal was to swamp the immigration courts then the only appropriate reaction to prevent the tactic from working is to boot out everyone who is here without meeting our legislated requirements and not by some presidential decree
Was the reporter a Fox Network guy, or some minor minion from a local affiliate?
Who knows, he could have been afraid he’d be charged with a hate crime, attacked, or doxed if mayor Bowow or the LA crowd took offense.
He was introduced as an LA Fox News correspondent. He also had a British accent, if that helps. Or is any excuse…
He probably could be arrested and charged if he called someone an illegal in the UK these days, maybe even if he went back for a visit after doing so on “media”. They’re already geared up to fine social media providers (like TwitteX) if they allow “hate speech”.
