Axis media note: CNN’s alert to my phone just now regarding the Maduro operation: “Maduro and his wife dragged from their bedroom…”
Awww.
See how mean that President Trump is? He dragged that poor couple from their bed!
CNN should be shamed out of existence.

Well, you wouldn’t want us to separate their family, now would you?
Poor Bonnie and Clyde…
Sometimes a few dots can be used in place of the original wording without changing meaning, but that does not seem to be the case here: ‘from their bed’ and ‘from their bedroom’ are at least a bit different. But, who knows what really happened; CNN merely says “sources told CNN”. Those sources should have been more complete in their ‘reporting’ and CNN should have demanded that. There are some things inquiring minds want to know. Was this before or after a good night’s sleep? Were, ahem, marital relations interrupted? Did the couple resist strongly, or did they simply collapse to the floor necessitating the alleged dragging? Is it likely they will suffer from nightmares over this whole ordeal? CNN has got to up its game and do a more complete job of reporting.
Yup, I misquoted that and it’s fixed. Thanks.
When did anonymous sources become the norm in stories like this?
Why, that was during Trump’s first administration, of course, when there were rampant threats of retaliation, physical harm, job loss, and legal jeopardy. /s
My first thought was “Wait, shouldn’t they have been in a bunker or something?” But it looks like the hit was so hard and fast they didn’t have a chance to leave the bedroom (though I have a hard time believing they didn’t know our forces were there until they were caught). Here’s the Fox News story where Trump talks about the operation:

Can we do the same to rescue NYers?
Hah! I was just reading about the operation and began wondering whether the special forces couldn’t snatch Mamdani and his wife from Gracie Mansion and take them … somewhere. Iran?
I can’t wait to see who wins the competition to head up Mr. and Mrs. Maduro’s defense! My money’s on Abbie Lowell. I also bet Alexander Soros will be paying Abbie’s bills.
Any ethical lawyer should be willing to defend them.
Yes of course, but the Dems will lionize the one who wins the prize.
I nominate John Adams.
Oh…dang!!!
Well, perhaps the duo will undergo rendition to a new Venezuela run by a Trump-appointed governor. The Justice system there is a bit less adversarial than what we have.
