And she was supposedly a rising star of the Democratic Party. Well, she’s better than Graham Platner…
Crockett, who lost her attempt to run for the U.S. Senate and now is a lame duck in the House, was in fine form this week. The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing on the evidence that the Southern Poverty Law Center was paying the “hate groups” it railed against. One of the witnesses called by the Republicans on the committee was Dr. Alveda King. Her father is Alfred Daniel King, the younger brother of Martin Luther King Jr., and she has broken ranks to be a GOP supporter and an advocate for President Trump.
After King’s statement, Crockett began shouting about how how “white men” had invited Alveda to the hearing and that those white men from the GOP wanted to “tell people of color who is fighting for who. People of color do not feel comfortable or welcomed within your party.”
“That’s why you have to parade someone who has the name ‘Dr. King’ attached to them, so that people can be confused,” she continued. “Because I have been reading the comments online, and people are like, ‘Who is this Dr. King’ because you want them to believe that she somehow espouses who Dr. King was.” Crockett didn’t give this Dr. King an opportunity to respond, but the next speaker, Rep. Russell Fry (R-S.C.), allowed her to do so.
“Congresswoman, I am a bit emotional,” King began. “I’m going to watch what I say, but it seems as though you have suggested that I am a bastard to the King family legacy. I am legitimately the daughter of the Rev. Alfred Daniel Williams King and Dr. Naomi Ruth Barber King. We are a family who loves God. And I love you. God bless you.”
Crockett walked out of the chamber in the midst of King’s statement. Nice.
She was just getting warmed up, though. Later that day, after the Karmelo Anthony guilty verdict was announced, the loud-mouth Congresswoman went on her “Clock It With Crockett”podcast and wildly distorted the facts of the case. She argued that the victim Austin Metcalf’s family couldn’t understand the pain black women have to endure daily. Crockett said that was made clear to her again while talking about the case to a friend who is a black mother. “Black women — especially black women who have black male children — live in fear and agony every single day,” Crockett said. “A fear and agony that I promise you, the Metcalfs probably never spent a day living that way.”
How ironic that their unarmed son was the one who was murdered, not the worried black mother’s son who stabbed him in the heart.
Crockett then expressed the revolutionary idea that Americans need to have “real conversations about race in this country,” as if such conversations aren’t usually hijacked by race-hustlers like Jasmine Crockett, making them divisive and useless.
Crockett, ignoring the evidence at trial, insisted that the stabbing was self-defense. “If a 300-pound man is beating me, like on top of me and beating me down, I’m not limited to fists,” Crockett said. She must have been thinking of Mike Brown. “Cuz I’m telling you right now, if you were twice my weight and got way more strength than me and you got me pinned down, I don’t believe I’m going to survive,” Crockett ranted. It was reported that Metcalf was 6’0, 200 pounds, and Anthony is 5’11 and 162 pounds. The latter was never “pinned down” nor was he in danger of being pinned down. Witnesses said that Anthony dared Metcalf to touch him, and stabbed him to death when he did.
Jasmine: “And when you look at like George Floyd, like George Floyd died, and they never took out a quote-unquote weapon. So this idea you can’t die is wild, right?” Wait, was Metcalf kneeling on Anthony’s neck? What was she talking about?
Then Crockett claimed the murder weapon (it was a knife with a five-inch blade) was too small.
“Well, I would have argued the size of it alone, you wouldn’t even think it’s a deadly weapon,” she reasoned. By definition, if the knife penetrated Metcalf’s heart and killed the kid, it’s a deadly weapon.
Jasmine then said that Metcalf confronted Anthony because “this is the culture that is being instigated,” where white people are “gettin’ real bold with us right now.”
I guess the solution is to kill more white people when they get too bold.
“I guess the solution is to kill more white people when they get too bold.”
Like it or not, you are absolutely right. These black rage politicians don’t want any kind of Justice. They want this country, and a big pile of dead white people. In a lot of ways there are no different thn Hamas, who want Israel and a big pile of dead Jews.
I think a lot of it boils down to jealousy. There are black people in all the professions and some that are major assets to American society. However, they still haven’t reached the level of success of the other races except in sports and certain sectors of entertainment.
Even in those cases a lot of the success is tainted. It’s tainted because a lot of these performers and athletes don’t even try to control themselves. A lot of the time we look the other way on athletes who make punching bags out of their wives and rappers who never stopped being gangsters.
As a result, the jealous think that they are entitled to what everyone else has, and if they have to kill them to get it, well that’s just too bad. That’s just one less white person to do all the bad things white people do. Folks like Crockett can get away with saying things like that. Flip it around though, n and have someone say that every black person who’s dead is one less person to be a criminal, and people look at you like you’re a crazy racist.
I just came from World War II weekend , and amidst all the vintage vehicles, reenactments, and aircraft, the bottom line is that War started because certain people’s decided that they had a right to take what those they considered inferior had and eliminate those who they considered inferior. I think it tells you all you need to know that even during 1945, when the Allies were closing in on Berlin, they still prioritized the work of the camps.
In a way, this current hatred is even worse than the Nazi doctrine. The Nazis believed that the strong should take what they want, and if the weak can’t stop them, they shouldn’t be there in the first place. This group of haters believes that the angry and those who believe their hatred is justified should take what they want, and those who disagree should not even try to stop them because they do not have the moral authority.
Add to that the influx of poorly-vetted visa holders and illegal immigrants and you have a huge boiling pot of the stew of entitlement (ingredients: anger, envy, sloth, greed, pride, lust and gluttony) that cares not a whit for “We the People” and seems to exist solely for “Show Me the Money!”
It seems that Anthony’s parents may have believed the race hustlers’ claims that their son’s trial would be a slam-dunk acquittal, and blew the $600K crowdfunded for their son’s legal defense on luxury crap, leaving the actual legal defense up to the usual overworked public defender. A top-dollar criminal defense attorney would have done Anthony far more good than his mom pleading for mercy with the jury as they entered the sentencing phase of the trial.
Huh, a guy who thinks it’s ok to stab a dude after being told repeatedly to leave a place he’s not supposed to be has parents with exactly zero values….?
I’d have never expected that.
The Anthony family are first class ethics dunces, at least half of Karmelo’s prison sentences can be attributed to the choices they made:
Let’s count the ways in which they are ethics dunces:
https://redstate.com/bonchie/2025/04/17/new-father-of-murdered-boy-showed-up-at-karmelo-anthonys-presser-what-happened-next-was-shocking-n2187979
What could the Anthony family have done better?
“The family of an innocent murder victim are the conscience in a murder trial, and are to be treated with the utmost deference by all parties involved, and the jury will hang on to every word they say in all phases of the trial.”
Where do you get this notion? First off, calling him a “murder victim” assumes the very thing to be proven. Secondly, he was hardly “innocent.” He was an aggressor; he put his hands on another person without justification. Having said that, Anthony had a tenuous self-defense claim that the jury rejected. The fact that they rejected the self-defense claim does not make Metcalf “innocent.”

Jut I believe you are an attorney, and are stating that I am making some assumptions about guilt and innocence. However all conversation about the trial is now wisdom in hindsight, and what we know today today was not known to the Anthony family a year ago.
The video below is the inspiration of my post. This video is posted 11 months ago, and in this video this attorney warns the Anthony family that their legal and public relation strategy is going to backfire leading to a much severe prison sentence for Karmelo Anthony. I wonder if the Anthony family had consulted this attorney what the outcome of the trial would have been.
The strategy of the Anthony family did not work. It did not help them garner any sympathy from the jury. The race baiting and the treatment of the Metcalf family only creates revulsion. And the self-defense claim was a long shot as Karmelo was never in danger for his life. Given that the jury decides on the sentence, should the family not try to appear sympathetic in the public’s and the jury’s eyes?
Do you disagree with the argument that “Touch me and find out” or words to that effect removes the unconsented assault and battery claim as a well as self-defense?
And here are some details about the man shouting in front of the court house that the only good crackers are dead crackers. Below a YouTube video by his stepson, who is appalled by his stepdad. The name of this man is Jacob Blake. That name should ring a bell. In 2020 in Kenosha a man was shot by the police who resisted arrest and try to run over a cop while holding a knife in his hand. He survived but was paralyzed; his name is Jacob S. Blake. This event resulted in the infamous BLM riots in Kenosha, during which Kyle Rittenhouse had to shoot two rioters in self defense.
This activist in front of Collin County Courthouse is the father of Jacob S. Blake, whose actions triggered the BLM riots in Kenosha. You watch the video and all the dirty laundry being exposed. This guy has two sons called Jacob. He sired six children out of wedlock, and refuses to provide any child support. Black lives matter to him but his own children do not; go figure. He was once led off an airplane after calling a flight attendant a cracker; he travelled with a toddler who did not have a proper ticket.
People like these are a prime reason why racist attitudes against black people persist. Their behavior creates the urge in people to use the N-word. They cause “black fatigue”.
Jasmine Crockett is – at this point – an irredeemable soul. I know it’s been written a thousand times, but if a six-foot, two-hundred pound black boy had shoved a five-eleven white boy…and then that white boy stabbed the kid through the heart, Ms. Crockett would have nothing to say about the white boy “acting in self defense.”
I heard a bit of Tyrus last night on Greg Gutfeld’s show – Tyrus is (I think) a hulking ex-wrestler who is black – and he made an interesting observation. It’s probably not new, but it pinged my ears. He said that discrimination in this country has so diminished that race husksters like SPLC and Crockett and others simply have to create it, whether it’s by secretly funding the few examples still in existence (via the SPLC) or just repeatedly saying in public that it’s still an issue (via people like Crockett).
…and I suppose this is the risk that’s inherent when not-for-profits take on social issues. Since they are dependent on donors to maintain their well-being, the temptation is to make sure the social issue is not resolved, which keeps the money flowing in. So if organizations like SPLC are not only not interested in eliminating the last small pockets of racist activity that exist, but are actually funding those activities, then those organizations are just as racist as any joe-white-supremacist that donates to a racist cause. It’s equivalent to the American Heart Association quietly funding Crisco…or Marlboro.
Manufacturing racism out of thin air – as Crockett does continually – is no less racist than manufacturing it by buying people, forcing them to work, and then beating them when they don’t.
Slight correction:
“Then Crockett claimed the murder weapon (it was a knife with a five-inch blade) was too small.”
It was five inches including the handle, very common sized hunting knife, three inch handle, two inch blade, give or take a little on each, and more than enough to do what was done here.
I have a couple of my own to correct though:
On Platner: I hadn’t realized that Mills had suspended her campaign, I think that does change something… He basically ran unopposed and still only managed to pull 74%. It’s still beyond frustrating that the Democrats couldn’t find anyone else to run, but throwing 18% of a vote to a suspended campaign is probably one of the larger protest votes I’ve ever seen, but like I said… That context does matter.
Also, on Anthony: I assumed that the tents we were talking about were the same kind we used at my school, which were big, thick walled tents… I hadn’t realized that the ones we were talking about were a couple of wall-less pop up tends side by side. I think most of my thoughts on self-defense still apply, but there was obviously less of a privacy concern, and no one was changing there.
“On Platner: I hadn’t realized that Mills had suspended her campaign, I think that does change something . . .”
I think under the rules, suspension of a campaign is materially different from withdrawing or canceling. As I understand it, suspension means she is not completely out of the campaign, a candidate can still raise funds, and can reinstate the campaign sometime later. Here, Mills might jump in after the primary results are certified and run in his place if he steps aside because of all the scandals.

“It was five inches including the handle“
If that’s accurate, I stand (partially) corrected on my earlier comment re Anthony’s premeditation, though both folding and fixed blade knives are usually designated by their blade length, not overall length.
I’ll blame incompetent reporting by the media 😉
I dunno the 9/11 hijackers used box cutters and utility knives. Look at the damage they caused.

“Jasmine then said that Metcalf confronted Anthony because “this is the culture that is being instigated,” where white people are “gettin’ real bold with us right now.”
This is the most telling-on-herself thing she has said so far.
She’s complaining about uppity white folk?
I’ll write the same thing I did over at Fox News when the story broke…
The line up of racist rants from Crockett should turn the stomachs of everyone of her constituents and cause them to recall her, if possible, or vote the racist moron out of office as soon as possible.
Steve wrote, “The line up of racist rants from Crockett should turn the stomachs of everyone of her constituents . . .”
Nah. Her constituents know who she is. They voted for her. I suspect most people in her district treat her rants like those former constituents treated the now deceased Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (TX D-18). They shook their heads and sadi, “oh, Sheila . . .” and voted for her again. Crockett knows she is untouchable. She is not running for reelection, so she can say and do whatever she wants with absolutely no consequence.

That’s truly sad to the point of being disturbing. It certainly doesn’t say anything good about the thinking of the voting public in her district.
Nope.

She lost the primary for Senate from James Talerico begin this year, and did not run in the primary for the House. She will be out in November. Her district 30 has been redrawn; her home address is now in neighboring district 33.

That’s good to know.
I bet that Crockett, being the ball busting, black, anti-white racist, woke, progressive that she is, won’t just disappear from the national political scene.

With that shockingly finite skill set, she’s not qualified for much else.

That’s exactly why I’m betting that she’ll likely stick to something that somehow keeps her in the political spotlight, watch her, she’s addicted to the camera, microphone, and spotlight. She could always be the public face of a racist black organization like “Black Lives Matters” or how about the public face for that “Black Voters Matter” like is plastered on her shirt in the photo above. Unapologetic racism!
I wonder how many “Black (fill in the blank) Matter” organizations there are across the USA; but, if one white person dared to actually start a “White Lives Matter” organization with supporters then these black anti-white racists would be screaming “RACISTS”, “KKK”, “WHITE SUPREMACISTS” and “NAZI’s” at the top of their lungs in the streets. Their hypocritical double standards are in-your-face.
She is launching a “new national leadership PAC called FIRE — short for Fueling Individual Rights Everywhere.”
I’m not sure what to think of the name choice since there is already a FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression). My confusion over the name is because I don’t know if she’s ignorant and doesn’t know of FIRE or if she’s stupid and trying to create confusion.
“FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression).”
Doesn’t EA have a copyright/trademark infringement lawyer on retainer…?

I saw a “White Lives Matter” sign near the courthouse in Frisco TX with pictures of Austin Metcalf, Iryna Zarutska, and Charlie Kirk.
The real issue is that two black man own the trademark to the “Black Lives Matter” slogan. For this reason they were able to stop Kanye West from selling a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt.
