Karen Bass, again. Begging people to send her money and get her a 6 to 1 donation match from city coffers. Using taxpayer funds to boost specific politicians’ campaigns is apparently legal there, but seems totally unethical…allowing supporters to “buy” an election with other people’s involuntarily acquired money. (Well, the other people’s money thing is sort of the democrats’ way.)
It seems like this sort of deliberately skewed “polling” comes dangerously close to what people who distributed intentionally misleading flyers with incorrect voting days/methods have been prosecuted for.

This arose out of a string of private school parent chats about one girl having Oreos in her lunchbox, and a Karen mother, who didn’t give them to her child, trying to police other’s meals. Google “Lunchbox Oreos Dispute”.
Destruction of property ethics… a small business recorded property damage, the strung out young adults dug up several feet of grass out front, noticed the security camera and destroyed it too. The police officer said they needed a serial number from the security camera to prosecute. Why? The damage was caught on camera until it was broken and the owner recognized who they were. How do you pursue theft and destruction if this is how it goes with the police? On camera and recognized vandals can’t be prosecuted anymore? Maybe they never could…. what is the appropriate next step for the business owner if law enforcement refuses to act? It’s not like a few feet of grass and a security camera is very valuable.
You gotta love Karens. How about packing some slightly healthier, home-baked cookies in your daughter’s lunch – send a batch to share with the other children.
I loved all the responses. I would not want to be that woman at the next get-together.

Maybe try various word search strings and see if some other sites have posted the vids. “Lunchbox oreo cookie controversy ” or something.
