True to their totalitarian role models, today’s Democratic Party presenting itself to voters is wrapped in disguises, lies and misrepresentation, using the same strategy as Kamala Harris, who pretended to be a moderate—an incoherent one, but still—when she ran in 2024, and Virginia’s current governor, Abigail Spanberger, another fake moderate who has championed one radical left policy item after another after getting elected. Most of the party’s obsessions noted above are being soft-peddled in campaigns while the complicit mainstream media muffles their stench. The “big issues” are inflation, which any supporter of the Biden Administration is estopped from criticizing, the National Debt, which is a bi-partisan crisis if anything is, data centers, which are the latest object of cynical fearmongering to manipulate our majority of dimwits, and, most of all, Trump Derangement.
That theme is essentially basing an election on hate, something the Dixiecrats did during the Bad Old Days of Jim Crow (which progressives claim are still with us.) Rather than abandoning the hateful foundations of their message that failed two years ago, Democrats and the once mentally competent citizens they have infected decided to double down.
A new poll by Issues & Insights found that Trump Derangement Syndrome is, in the words of the publication, “very real, very serious, and very widespread. It’s time to treat it as an urgent mental health crisis.” To wit…
- More than a third of the public (38%) and more than half of Democrats (53%) say they themselves have experienced TDS, when it’s described as “unusually intense negative emotional reactions to Donald Trump.”
- 70% say they observed Trump-related emotional stress, anger, or agitation among people they know.
- 62% say they have seen people change their behavior because of strong negative feelings toward Trump.
- 41% know people who refuse to socialize with friends or family who support Trump.
- 37% have seen obsessive attention to Trump combined with anger toward his supporters.
- 22% say they have seen threats or aggressive or violent behavior tied to negative feelings about Trump.
The mania of bringing Trump Hate into every topic and conversation is at the level of science fiction. “Independent journalist” Mary Elaine LeBay (she’s a Democratic Party propagandist) yesterday posted a lengthy re-hash of Richard Nixon’s dastardly secret sabotage of LBJ’s Vietnam war peace talks on the pretense that November 2 is its “anniversary,” a dubious assertion. She really posted the account, which itself was accurate, because the election is November third and she wanted to send this message to Facebook readers at teh end of a n essay about Richard Nixon….
“While Democratic presidents, do sin, usually fooling around on the First Lady… for serious and evil crimes, look to Republican presidents. We, as a nation, need to stop NOT prosecuting evil Republican presidents… it only emboldens their successors… I sure hope we as a nation have learned this painful lesson and realize that not only can we handle this as a nation; we deserve this justice, and most importantly, our children need to see that we mean it when we say that nobody is above the law.”
Well, nobody but Hillary Clinton, James Comey, James Clapper, the Black Lives Matter rioters, Hunter Biden, Deep State FBI agents, Rep. Omar, illegal aliens, and mothers who murder their children.
A Facebook friend, a retired and once respected DC journalist, approvingly posted this two days ago, calling it an “interesting read”:
There are several unethical and, frankly, bonkers, aspects of making hatred of a President with two years left in the White House the main justification for voting for Democrats. A main one is that without a two-thirds majority in the Senate, all a Democratic Congress can do is grandstand: the President has veto power. I read a emotional lament from a woman on social media who said that if Democrats “win big” today, they had better “do something.” It is quite possible, even likely, that two years of Democratic control of Congress will ensure a Republican sweep in 2028. Another important one is that the hate circuit overload is priming violence. A reasonable and analytical friend who is something of a conspiracy theorist by nature says that the relentless narrative that Democrats will sweep the mid-terms combined with the long-standing Axis propaganda that Republican and Trump will rig the elections has been designed to ensure nationwide rioting when the Angry Left’s hopes are dashed.
I got out of the election prediction business when Republican voters stupidly stayed home in 2012 because Mitt Romney wasn’t conservative enough for them, this giving Barack Obama another four years to poison race relations and allow Putin to begin his incursions in Ukraine. They may well stay home again today because the President broke a campaign promise by deciding that the Iran threat had to be addressed, which was a responsible and courageous decision. If they do, they will deserve what they get. Just as in 2016, 2020, 2022 and 2024, the question is whether an entire party that has proven itself to be irrational, Machiavellian and untrustworthy should be allowed to expand its power.

Vote and hope for the best or don’t and let the inmates run the asylum. Sadly, it seems to have come down to this.
