It’s good to know teenie-bopper idol Justin Bieber is already practicing for the day when he will be a full-fledged, arrogant, self-absorbed, celebrity jerk, assuming his career survives puberty.
Apparently a kid tried to hack the Facebook page of one of Bieber’s pals, in a failed attempt to get tickets to a concert or something—it doesn’t matter. What matters is that the pop star took his revenge by tweeting to his 4.5 million Twitter followers, “Everyone call me or text,” and included the would-be hacker’s phone number.
That Justin! The target of his wrath got about a million phone calls, and had to change his number.
Bieber is still just a teen, but he already knows that his position as a celebrity gives him great power, and he is obviously willing to use it to squash like a bug any mere mortal who displeases him . Imagine what he’ll be like when he’s 30.
For the record, Bieber’s youthful ethical breaches were abuse of power, vengeful conduct, and..let’s see…something else…
Oh yes: lying to 4.5 million people!
It gives me a glimmer of hope for the next generation that he felt he had to lie to them. He could have tweeted that “This jerk tried to scam free tickets, give him a call or a text to let him know how you feel about it”, but he felt that too many of them would realize that it was wrong.
Michael, you are clearly a “glass half-full” kind of guy!
Isn’t this the same kid who also tweeted Kayne West so they could “do something” together? And apparently, they are! Talk about vegetable oil on polluted waters. Immiscible. But both seem intent on doing whatever they can to shore up their careers. One thing’s certain. Bieber can forget any twosome with Taylor Swift!
Immiscible??? I have to look that one up.
I would agree that wanting to have anything to do with mega-Ethics Dunce Kanye West is a very bad sign…
Can’t be mixed, Jack!
Thanks for getting back to me on that, Steven…three years later!
I thought you’d appreciate that!
If any of my children had ever shown the slightest signs of wanting to be a child actor I would have been forced to put them in therapy. Even the desire to be an actor (or a politician) should be grounds for mental examination.
Not as long as you have ambitious stage moms, degenerate filmmakers and depraved audiences. As long as they bring in the money, they’ll find kids to desecrate on camera… and turn them into little animals in the process.
