Ugh. Here is another one of those “conservative stories” that so far the progressive media has ignored. I can’t find any non-conservative reports, but it appear to be real. A tenth-grade teacher of “Ethnic Studies World History” at Chief Sealth International High School (Could there be a description that screams “Woke mania!” any more shrilly?) failed a student on a class quiz called “Understanding Gender vs. Sex” because he wrote that only women can become pregnant as an answer to one question and and that only men have penises on another.
According to local radio 770 KTTH, some of the questions on the quiz focused involved personal pronoun use (“When someone uses ‘they/them’ pronouns, what does that mean about their gender identity?”) and stereotypes. (“True/false: Transgender people are gay”). Question 4 asked for a true or false response to the statement, “All men have penises.” The student chose “true” because 99.9% of the time it is true. The teacher marked it incorrect. Question 7 was another true or false question, “Only women can get pregnant.” Again, The same student marked this statement “true” as well. The teacher believes that men can get pregnant, though 99.999999999999999999999+ men throughout history and currently could not and can not.
The child’s mother is perplexed, reportedly telling the Jason Rantz Show on the radio station that her complaints have gone unanswered, and that her son says he has been called “fucked and racist” and “a product of the patriarchy” by teachers in the school.
The talk show contacted Seattle Public Schools about the incident, and received this statement:
“Seattle Public Schools is dedicated to establishing inclusive environments that allow exploration of contemporary issues, specifically examining the impacts of power systems such as racism and patriarchy. This commitment extends to fostering welcoming and inclusive settings where students, staff, and families have the freedom to express their authentic selves.”
Oh.
Now explain what penis questions have to do with “World History.”
That school system is so far over any ethical lines restraining the extent of personal and ideological indoctrination in school that it is parental malpractice to continue to allow a child to be educated there. It’s not even worth trying to reform such a radicalized and abusive institution. As the Amityville House so wisely advised, it is time to “GET OUT!”
At this point anyone who can afford to pull their children out of ANY public school and has not is guilty of child abuse. Anyone who can’t afford to should be making whatever sacrifices are necessary to be able to pull their kids out ASAP.
It blows my mind that the Public Schools are still full, then again everyone believes their school is different, despite them all reporting to the same hierarchy.
I’m no lawyer, but isn’t that sort of discrimination illegal and grounds for a lawsuit?
Perhaps a lesson on middle eastern cultures and the LGBTQ community is in order here.
Question for the quiz
Which middle eastern nations ensure LGBTQ rights.
Which nations are most hostile to the LGBTQ community
I had to look this place up. This school’s website has a link to this:
https://amaze.org/coloring-book/
I had never heard of amaze, a website fixated on teaching children about children’s body parts, but its not age appropriate, in my mind. Apparently, it is supposed to take the awkward out of growing up [What fun is that? I don’t want to go from being a toddler to an adult, thank you.]
This link is to a coloring book. One page is with two naked children. The top of the page says, to “circle the parts that are the same on both boys and girls” Then lists- “Nose, nipples, eyes, vulva, belly button, penis”
This is Amaze.org/Jr, by the way! Is this age appropriate? How old are kids that color? 4-9?
Vulva? Who knew the term vulva in 3rd grade? 9th for that matter? Who cared about a vulva or penis in 3rd grade? Why can’t I color trains or backhoes or fire trucks? I’m 7 years old, for fuck’s sake! Can I just go outside and play baseball? Or set the track up and with my hot wheels?
I just can’t wrap my head around parents that thinks this is OK.
If the student were clever (and no high school student should have to be this clever), he would right, “The binary representation of truth denies the experience of the oppressed” and refuse to answer any “true/false” question.
