July 4th Ethics: How Far Gone Do People Have To Be To Think This Is A Rational Way To Celebrate America’s Founding, And What Would Make Them Become That Way?

That is really and truly the official schedule for the Fourth of July celebration in San Diego County.

Nothing more needs to be said except perhaps,

  1. If this is the official narrative of the United States of America according to San Diego County, why would any green card holder in San Diego want to become a US citizen? Why should anybody be proud of the USA if the official narrative basically follows that of of the 1619 project, ridden with racial guilt, and a sense that the USA has been wrongly conceived, and should not exist? A narrative that is obsessed with alternative sexual identities? Would you be proud to become a citizen of a country with this type of self understanding?

In line with the San Diego County story, there is the story of ten blue states who officially refuse to participate in the celebrations on the Mall in Washington DC. Is this a lack of patriotism, or just Trump Derangement Syndrome at state government level?

Various recent polls indicate that there is a patriotism deficit among Democrats. Are the Americans still one identifiable people? Is “E Pluribus Unum” still a truth today?

  2. Not reading The Declaration of Independence then? I guess saying that our rights don’t come from the government is just too right-wing these days.

  3. Only indoctrinated morons won’t be able to recognize the anti-USA movement of the political left after the they have been figuratively dropping their pants and fully exposing their anti-USA sociommunists tendencies during this time when we as a nation should be openly celebrating the 250th anniversary of the USA.

The Absurd 21st Century Political Shift of the Democratic Party is very so obvious and in-our-faces now that I think it’s self-evident that these leftist morons want to fundamentally change the USA and destroy everything that supports it.

    • There is a storyline in the show “The Office” in which flaky, over-dramatic Kelly begins dating gruff warehouse foreman, Darryl. In one scene, Kelly finds out that Darryl can’t see her that evening because he has a visit with his daughter. Kelly orders him to choose between her or his daughter. Darryl (immediately): “My daughter.”

Kelly responds by pushing some items onto the floor. Darryl approaches her and quietly tells her, “I like you. There’s a lot to like. But you need to access your uncrazy side or maybe this thing has run its course.”

If the Democrats want to regain the trust of the electorate, especially outside of far-left cities, they need to access their uncrazy side.

  4. Why doesn’t the celebration conclude with deeding all of San Diego County to the local Indian tribe and all the non-tribal inhabitants leaving town?

  5. The capital-letter people and the African Americans get 10 minutes more story time than the other groups. That’s not fair.

  6. New rule: those who want to do land acknowledgements need to agree to pay a monthly sum for the rest of their lives to those they think were treated unjustly in history.

    • Right. I was just today thinking we could do a “gift and leaseback” of the entire country. The entire country could be gifted to Indian tribes, and they could lease it back to us! We could pay them full market rental value for the entire country and all improvements. They should be able to survive on that income stream. And it would be fair. And their income could even be tax free. That would work!

    • I saw someone mention that a land acknowledgement, whether the spineless progressives realize it or not, are really just declarations that “we won and you lost and we’re not going to do anything about it other than point it out”.
