Another Unethical Quote of the Month For The President! Great Timing There…

Nothing like reminding voters who are tempted to vote for candidates who want to impeach you why they hate your guts…

The quote, uttered ad lib (of course) at a rally in Perry, Georgia, over the weekend:

“Jon Ossoff personally sponsored a bill to bring armies of migrants from terror-infested countries like Libya, Yemen, Haiti, Somalia. Remember what I called them? Shithouse countries.”

I am reading indefensible conservative pundits trying to rationalize this unpresidential and uncivil discourse by countering, “Is he wrong?” That’s not the point. It wasn’t the point when he first was accused of using the vulgar and undignified term in 2018.

I wrote extensively about the ethics train wreck the then “alleged comments” set off. Like so much the Axis media publicized then and now, the episode was based on hearsay reporting on a private meeting, with the media freakout—pretending that no other President used vulgar and denigrating language behind closed doors—being dishonest and partisan. As usual.

My analysis at the time was as follows:

  1. Mr. President: Talk less. Listen more. Do your job better as leader of the free world.

Your countless gaffes are nearly guaranteeing the totalitarian left gains control of the government and the people. You are arming all arrayed against you and us.

    Please stop.

  2. I disagree. If there is a Blue wave it is because far too many Americans want to be coddled from cradle to grave.

Nikita Khrushchev made a similar point regarding the selling of rope to which we will hang ourselves. That rope was the development of expanded welfare programs that can never be ended. I wrote the other day that affluence might be that which undergirds the preoccupation of so many with others having more. Gen X’rs were the first beneficiaries of the largesse of the Boomers who wanted the best for their kids. Now the a sizable number of the children and grandchildren of GenX’rs feel entitled to make more demands on their elders because they were never taught how to act like an adult and they still act like dependent children; they are just demanding government fill the void left by their parents. Unearned affluence will make you weak because you never learned that it takes work and industry to be financially well off.

Advocates for smaller government and lower taxes cannot compete with a citizenry that is preoccupied with envy of other’s wealth. If their ideas are so wonderful why don’t the blue states implement all the socialist ideas (or demands) made by their voters and let the bill for those demand fall directly on the shoulders of the residents of those states. Let them close the income gap at the state level before we try stripping the assets of those not living in those states, Remember the concept that states are the laboratories of innovation and progress. Well, let them prove to others they can make it work efficiently for the betterment of its people. It cannot rely on the Feds to underwrite its social safety net because that would skew the results of the experiment.

Personally, I am tired of being labeled a bigot, racist with mountains of privileges that others do not have. Pure BS. I hear these words from politicians, activists and leaders of NGO’s on a daily basis. Their words are routinely adopted by the envious class and used to denigrate other citizens.

I too am tired of ungrateful bastards that come from third world nations and then make demands on those of us who at one point welcomed many immigrants. It appears that some are robbing us blind while other politicians turn a blind eye or utter far worse pejoratives at those of us who wish the investigate the truth.

Trump will be a private citizen after the next election. We don’ have a king that requires his blessing on every hire in every department yet we lay all bad decision at his feet as if he made them. Trump did not coarsen society; society has been coarsening since days of Lenny Bruce. He is a product of a society that use fuck in all sorts of mixed company. His staunchest female detractors use the word with impunity implying that its use is a badge of honor. Europe is not on fire today because of Trump and all those eloquent Casper Milquetoast leaders of those nations will find themselves wondering in the future if some hard language against those wishing to tear down western society might have been worth it in the long run.

I don’t give a damn about the wants and needs of everyone else because they only deserve what they put into the system. Just like me. Call me a fool but I think calling a spade a spade in the most ethical thing one can do. The most unethical thing done in my opinion is demanding something for nothing.

  3. The president could do well by shutting up about some things. On the other hand, he’s not wrong about those and other countries that have chosen unrestrained corruption and greed over the rule of law.

  4. Could it be that Trump will be as much of a footnote after he is out of office as Charlie Kirk? Spice with a mic while around.

As has been noted that Trump’s age is near to pie in the sky, how many years after he is finally gone gone will it take for media mentions to attenuate? As I understand it, nobody pays attention to the news unless his name is mentioned.

    • Trump is already a transformational President, like him or not. They can’t take that away from him, as the song goes. He joins Washington, Monroe, Jackson, Lincoln, T.R., FDR, Johnson and Reagan.
